Kiya looked down at the goat with a smile, it wasnt the goat so much that got to her but it was the way that Marina obviously felt about it. It made Kiya felt empty, before coming here she had never had any true friends as she was hardly allowed to talk to anyone except the other girls at the temple. They themselves were more into doing what ever they could to get to higher in the temple not caring who they stood on and Kiya couldnt call them friends.
"Your very lucky." She said quietly as she handed the photo back to Marina.

"Thank you," said Marina, though it sounded muffled. Tears began to fall like rain. It was a mistake asking Kiya to look at the photograph, because now Marina wanted Kama more than ever. She wobbled tearfully to her sack and stuffed the photo back in. A loud meow came from the sack indignantly. Marina froze; suspended from putting in the photo. A white and grey cat clambered out of her sack, looking quite cross. "Tilli!" exclaimed Marina, scooping up the cat in a giant bear hug. "I forgot you!"
Running over to Kiya, she shook the disgruntled cat in her face. "She is Tilli, mya koshka," she gushed excitedly. She sat down rapidly next to Kiya, offering the fat cat to her.

Kiya took the cat into her arms with a grin at how excited Marina was, she had felt terrible that she had made her so sad a moment ago.
"Koshka, cat?" She asked Marina as she stroked Tilli with her finger tips.

"Da. Koshka: cat."
She petted Tilli, happy that she had at least one piece of her home with her. Tilli gazed up at Kiya with her gigantic amber eyes, and shut them, purring contentedly. She rubbed her head against Kiya's body, showing affection.
Marina kept her eyes on her cat lovingly, telling Kiya about Tilli's past. "Tilli was born in blizzard. Tilli's mama died, y her brothers and sister did too. But Tilli was lucky; because she lived. So Tilli is favorite cat in family. She is have kittens-- beireimina. That is pregnant."

Kiya simply smiled as Tilli rubbed against her, She was used to cats and them showing affection was a sign of great importance to her. She listened to Marina speak of Tilli, "She is one lucky cat." She said with a smile and then when rubbing Tilli behind an ear she said to her quietly, "mr anx wDA snb"

Marina noticed Kiya's sign of happiness, and she smiled. "When she have katonyki I give you one," she offered. Cats were very nice to have around, and the antics of kittens were always worth watching.

"Why?" asked Marina puzzled. It seemed strange that one should not be allowed to own a cat-- especially if you lived around them.

"Well Koshka's in Egypt are almost on the level as the gods, and having one as a pet is like taking a supreme being as a slave," Explained Kiya as she smiled down to Tilli.
"At home its in a way them that owns us,"

Marina pulled a strange face. "That would be weird here, having the koshka as a god." She looked down at Tilli, who responded with a meow.
Marina laughed. "Oh, mighty god, do you request some ripka?" she asked, bowing almost mockingly before the cat.

Kiya looked at Marina awkwardly, "Well sure here you can say that but if you go there you'd be repremanded for making fun of our beleifs." Kiya said simply.
"I know now why they didnt want me to go to a different school, because so many things are different here,"

Marina stopped acting atrociously at drew herself up. She sat back down next to Kiya, shame-faced.
"I-I am sorry. I do not mean to hurt feelings."
She sat silently by her, suddenly feeling more aware of her actions than before.
"Forgive?"

"Its ok." Kiya said with a smile,
"I know everything is different here, its sort of the reason I came, I wanted to see what this life was like before I had to stay there forever. Ive always been amazing and interested in the outside world, everyone says its because Im not a pureblood egyptian." Kiya said thoughtfully with a shrug.

"I never went anywhere past village until now. My village called Kraniskvya, which not have meaning. Is like the word chicken. Is only a bird. Nothing else. Except the village is not mean chicken."
