The Russian smiled and then went back inside for a second to get something. He came back out with a thick, black jacket and wrapped it around Kiya's shoulders. "Since you're from Egypt, you're probably an ice cube by now." he explained.

Once they made it back inside, Ivan sat Kiya down and quickly prepared her a cup of hot chocolate to keep her body nice and warm. To say the hinest truth, he hated himself for making her run outside when the reason she did didn't concern her.

Kiya accept the warm drink with a smile as she took a sip. "Wonderful." She said looking to him but at that moment she seemed to notice something was wrong, it could have just been about his mother but Kiya decided there was no harm in asking.
She took his hand and pulled him gently to sit down next to her, "Ivan, is something else bothering you?"

The sorrow in Ivan's eyes seemed to tear Kiyas heart apart. A solitary tear rolled slowly down her cheek as she kissed him lightly leaning into him. Once they parted she whispered, "I love you, I promise never to leave you."

"Then, may I be weak for a little while longer?" he asked, resting his head against her bust and allowing his tears to fall. "I loved my uncle so much more than I did my mother...."

Kiya didnt know what to say to comfort Ivan so simply held him close to her and let him cry. She knew sometimes crying and letting your emotions flow could help more then any words to be said.
