Ani leaned against the cold bare stone wall. Taking no heed in the dust that was sure to become sprinkled on her crisp new robes. Wincing in pain she kneeled down and loosened her shoes. How she hated them! They felt so cramped.
Slowly she lowered herself to the ground, Ani made a slight thump as she hit the freezing floor. Tears began to etch the outline of her bright eyes. This is how wizards lived? This was their life? How different and crazy it seemed to her life as a Selkie.
Her raven hair fell in front of her like running water as she leaned her head down. This is an adventure. Thought Ani, and instantly she perked up, she couldn't be a wimp and cry! Oh no. Ani was going to suck it up.

"You know, you really shouldn't be sitting on the floor like that." Ivan said and offered the girl a hand. "Where are you from anyway? You don't seem to be too used to the cold here. Perhaps you are European?" His silver hair was well taken care of and brushed neatly so the longest of the silver strands carressed the bottom of his earlobes. His eyes were a deep, steel gray and his complexion was olive, betraying his half asian heritage. "Come on, Let's find you someplace warmer to stay."
