Dryden sat on one of the couches, his feet stretched out in front of him. As he rested his head in one hand and a soda in the other, he couldn't help but feel a huge weight off his shoulders as the first day had come.
Dryden had worked so hard for this all to happen, even though the school didn't look like much so far.
He was glad Atreyu had accepted his invitation, also surprised at Tru's decision to come. He was never really close to either of them. Hopefully, they would have heard about the meeting during the first day and come to catch up and discuss smaller details with him before the school year actually started.

Atreyu walked into the room labled staff lounge. He sighed deeply, a bit nervous that he would be seeing some of his old class mates for the first time in over a decade. He opened the door to only find Dryden. He looked curiously at Dryden. He looked alot diffrent from when he'd seen him last, but still recognizable. Atreyu walked over towards Dryden, and sat down on a couch opposite him. "Hello Dryden. Long time no see." He said this with a straight face, he said it as though he didn't know what kind of person Dryden was now.

Teyla stood silently at the door, she didnt know what was going to happen between the two, weither they'd forgive and forget or possibly hold a grudge forever. Teyla still remembered the day Dryden had looked her square in the eye and said he would kill us all. *well at least he didnt do that.* Teyla thought to herself as she entered the room.
"Hey both of you," She said talking a seat watching them both with a small smile.

Tru wandered in and laid herself down across one of the armchairs in the Staff Room. She watched the other three curiously, though mainly she watched Dryden and Atreyu. At FrostBite, she hadn't really known them very well, but she guessed something had happened to break any relationship they may have had, other than love-to-hate. She didn't say anything, instead looking around the room.
Today, she was wearing her boots with a 3/4 sleeve purple top, a black, knee-length, ruffled skirt, and a wide belt. Her hair wasn't tied up.

Atreyu acknowledged both Tru and Teyla as they entered the room. He had already made small talk with them earlier that day apon his arrival. However Atreyu was still fixed apon Dryden's first words, And for the other teachers to arrive. He was eager to see who else had shown up, and what class he'd be teaching.

Dryden's eyes trailed over and looked out the corner of his eye, to where Atreyu sat down. He hadn't moved his head out of his hands in the whole time that the others had entered the room. A small smile on his face, Dryden closed his eyes for a brief moment; Atreyu brought back the sudden memory of the last time they had met... on the battlefield, when he had been fighting for the Drow, so many years ago.
Lifting his head up, the smile vanished and Dryden looked deeply into Atreyu's questioning eyes.
At a glance, Dryden hadn't changed in his face a whole lot. He had lost the markings, thank goodness, and his eyes had become a brighter red. At present, Dryden looked about 25 or 26... a fair bit younger than how he was supposed to be. It was the dark-elf trait, where the aging process became slower and slower as the years went by. His hair was shorter now, it had grown way past his shoulders during the war, which was probably how Atreyu would have remembered him last. Instead, it was slicked back, dead straight and lay just under his ears, which now sported many additional piercings compared to his initial six when he was a teenager.
Dryden got to his feet, now several inches taller than how he was remembered. His long official cape and fighting equipment was replaced by colourful red board shorts and a shirt with a strange tribal logo on it. He was barefoot, and grinned widely.
"Welcome to the school!" Dryden smirked; the smirk erupted into a friendly grin, but then he paused... a look of question on his face.
"Well... What do you think?"

"It's a bit dull."
Tru said, from her position on the couch. She stretched her arms out behind her head then sat her hands on her stomach, watching the others.
"What happened to Sara? I haven't seen her around school yet."

Dryden nodded slowly, trying to take in Tru's reaction as best he could.
"Uh... she'll be here soon... I hope."

"I mean, there's nothing much happening. We need something to start the year off, I dunno."
She glanced at the others, giving them each a look suggesting that they say something.

Sara stood in the door way watching silently, "Well we could have something simple to rally the houses together, maybe a competition to win house points of some sort." She said simply with a small smile.

Atreyu was completely shocked to see how much Dryden had changed. He though the tention between the two would have been thick, but he was obviously wrong. It was then that his Shock was kicked up a few notches higher. It was the sound of Sara's voice, which he still remembered from 15 years ago.
He turned to find Sara, who didn't look a day older than when he'd seen her last. He crossed his arms and took a few steps closer. "Well... it's nice to see your Sara." He was sort of at a loss for words.

"It is nice to see you too Atreyu." She said with a smile. She felt the prang she had felt for many years in her life, she looked at the others in the room and realised just how much everyone had changed... except her.
She sighed as she stepped further into the room dressed head to toe in black which made her skin look like pure white, "It has been a long time." She said with a sad smile, she may outwardly look the same but her crystal blue eyes showed the pain she kept inside and hardly let anyone see. Not anymore.
She didnt know much of the human drow side of the war except of how it ended, that was the main reason that some times Sara rubbed the back of her neck self concious of the marking the ministry had given all dangerous beings. In many ways she felt labeled like a criminal without trial.
"So does anyone else have an idea as how to get the school year started? Who is teaching what class may I ask?"

Dryden looked the exact opposite in appearance of Sara... even down to their clothes. It was even more obvious and he stepped closer, to be next to her.
He looked around curiously, wondering if the rest of the staff had decided and agreed on what classes they wanted.
"Well, I teach History... I think," Dryden began "Apart from that, I have my duties to fix stuff. The third floor classrooms need to be cleaned up, and Ivan has made a few holes around the place already."

"Well I'll be taking Care of Magical Creatures," She said with a smile as she looked to Dryden to make sure that was ok. After all she didnt know what Dryden had done since being here.

Atreyu cleared his throat as the conversation shifted to a serious one.
"Well, I can take Defense Against the Dark Arts, if it's available... If not, something like Potions or Charms will do."
