Kade left the Great Hall only to wonder around the school for what seemed like forever. Finally he stoped, he seemed somewhat dazed like with a frown as he thought about the letter, he had told Ivan nothing was wrong but it wasnt quite truthful. Although he hadnt lied either, he was confused. What? and Why, why would he do that? Kade saw the room of requirement in the hall he was in and after pacing the hall three times he walked into the room and it was once again the shack he had grown up in.
Flopping backwards onto his bed he once again opened the book slowly began to read a random page when the photos he had only glanced at earlier fell into his lap.
He picked up one of the photos, it was of a man and women in thier 20's. The man had short dark blonde ruffled hair with green eyes and he had his arms wrapped happily around the women. She had long dark sily hair which matched her warm hazel eyes, identical to Kade's as he stared at the photo warm tears wellling in Kade's as he couldnt take his eyes away from the photo.

Natalia had been walking by when she heard some sobbing in the roomof requiremnt. Quietly she snuck up to the door and listened, surprised to find that the person crying was Kade. She appeared in the room in a flurry of bright Shamrocks on a chair in the room. "What's wrong Kade?" she asked.

Kade had crawled into a little ball staring at one picture after another, reading the letter again and again waiting for it all to sink in. He had told Sam that his birthday wasnt for a few weeks, as that was when the convent had NOT celebrated it, more like punished him for it every year. But they - he had been wrong. It was today, he was 17 today, and his father, well his father in some respect had sent him these. As much as a dead guy could. He had died two years ago and he must as felt guilty as Kade's mother's diary wasnt the only thing he left him.
Kade jumped up from his fetal position to sit normally on the bed when he heard Natalia talk behind him and mentally kicked himself for not realising she was there. "Nothing is wrong," Kade lied badly as it was clear he had been crying from his red eyes. The photos were stewn over the bed but Kade still held the leather bound book lightly in his hand.

Natalia got off the chair she had been sitting on and kelt beside him, pulling him into a hug. He seemed to horribly distraught over something and no one deserved to be left alone when it was so obvious they needed someone to talk to. As she soothingly rubbed his back and whispered kind words into his ear she looked at some of the pictures on the bed, onbviously of his deceased parents. - Poor thing... - She thought.

Kade couldnt help but cry again as Natalia hugged him. Finally once he had gained control again he pulled away gently and saw her glance to the photos, "She was my mother." He said softly, "I never met her, she died giving birth to me." He explained with a sigh.
His voice however turned bitter with hatred as he spoke again, "He was my father, she deserved better, he deserved what he got." Kade said wanting to tear him out of every photo with the smiling women.

"He left her I imagine." Natalia whispered and gently rubbed Kade's back soothingly...

"Oh that wouldnt have been bad except it killed her," Kade said softly.
"Normal people dont realise how easy they have it, love cant kill them." Kade said as he picked up one of the photos.

Natalia let him go and said. "I know what ye mean laddie. We leprachauns are not all powerful either and it is exceedingly rare that one travels outside the commuinty to find a mate." She sighed. "Me father did so and came to Ireland where he met me leprachaun mother. It's a miracle she didn't die giving birth to me."

Kade figured it was the physical differences that would have most likely killed Natalia's mother but didnt point it out.
His mother however had died from her soul and her body followed, the only reason she had lasted as long as she did was because of Kade's soul inside her.
"I guess your right." He said slowly.

Natalia looked at him and smiled sadly. "If ye ever need someone to talk to about this lad, just know I'm here for ye."
