Kiya walked into the abandoned classroom. She knew she wasnt meant to be here due to the headmasters speech in the Great Hall.
But the fact other would be less then likely to walk in was appealing as she removed her outter robe to reveal her traditional egyptian get up. The same kind of close they wore in ancient times her mother had told her. When ever they were training or meditating they were to wear them.
She knelt down onto the dusty floor and placed a single white candle in front of her, it was large in diameter and the flame seemed to flicker an odd colour, not the usual yellow but almost a blood red.
She closed her eyes and began muttering what most would consider nonsence as the candle continued to burn the flame growing slowly.

Ivan watched her from outside the classroom while he smoked a thin cigarette, making sure no one bothered her during meditation. Being a martial artist, he knew the importance of being grounded and how easily anyone could disturb the chi.

Once Kiya had finished running though the incantation a few times she slowly opened her eyes. She stood up letting the flame continue to burn, and then walked back to the table to the side of the room she had placed a flat case on before begining her meditiation.
She opened the case and with drew two long silver three pronged daggers, they had egyptian heiroglyphs carved into the middle blade. She held them expertly in her hands, as if they weighed nothing but a feather. She began pracising with swishing and stabbing gestures into thin air.

Ivan raised an eyebrow as he saw this. "Mmmm." he said quietly, plucking the cigarette out of his mouth. "She's good. Maybe we could spar sometime."

Without someone else practising wasnt a challange which Kiya felt was useless. All the same she continued until she had worked up a slight sweat glinting in the candle light over her skin. She sighed as she placed the dagger's back in her case and then back in her bag. She blew out the candle and also placed it in her bag.
She then picked up her robe, she didnt feel like putting it on as she was warm enough already she just would have to throw it on if she saw someone. She stepped outside the room to see Ivan and ducked back in wondering if he had seen her.

"Nice dagger play." he complimented and took another long drag of his cigarette. "I didn't know a priestess must also learn how to fight."

"mAr bT," She muttered to herself with a sigh before quickly pulling her robe on and coming out of the room. "Are you sure about that? After all even the pharoh's daughter in the ancient times was trained in fighting depending on thier parents choices."

"Would you like to have a sparing match?" he asked and pulled his own dagger from his robes. "I can make the blades dull so they don't cut and then I can sharpen them again when we are done." he grey eyes watched her slip on the robe with interest.

"I could do the same but what would be the use of that, takes the thrill out of the match." She said with a slight shrug.
"About the sparing, I thought you were into Martial Arts, not dagger or sword play."

"In my style, I was taught how to fight with a staff, a dagger and fists." he answered. "Would you like to try and take me down? If you win, you may decide a prize."

"hmm Ive trained with a variety but I prefer my daggers." She said thoughtfully and then looking to Ivan, "Ah what could the harm be." She said with a sigh, "Here now?"

"Oh course." he walked into the classroom and then lit up all the troches inside. He formed another dagger out of his necklace and held them out infrint of him, closing his eys and concentrating.

Kiya followed suit into the classroom and took out her own daggers lightly placing them on the table. She didnt know if it would be right to take off her outter robe but wearing both felt uncomfortable so she shrugged off her outter robe. She then put if back in her pack and picked up her daggers once more and took her stance ready for his attack.

After a moment, Ivan charged Kiya, slashing at her egyptian robes with the blade and yet trying not to hurt her too badly either. It was a gentleman's rule not to cut the skin of a woman. He planeed to stay true to that.

Kiya may not have been the strongest at the temple but she was the fastest, it was a perk to being slender and small in frame. She moved and swipped her own sai at Ivan aiming for his upper torso but didnt want it to go to his skin, after all she didnt want to scar him in any way. Once she the attack passed she realised his dagger had indeed come in contact with the mesh just below her chest and there was a small tear in it.
