Kiya certainly didnt really want to stop as the closeness felt so good but she knew she should, she kissed him once more on the mouth and then instead of moving off him she just layed her head on his chest and listened to his racing heart beat.

"By american law, i could get in trouble for this." he told her, hugging her to him as he lay back down again.

"You could, how come?" She asked as she looked up to him slightly as she lay on him.

"By american law, you are under the age of 18. I am 19. An Adult, one over 18 can not date one younger than 18" he explained and ran a hand through her silky hair.

"Well by Egyptian tradition, if I was not to become a priestess I would have most likely been married off when I was 12 to someone twice my age." Kiya said thoughtfully.

"That's way to young." he said a bit angrily. "I hate it when people use their children as mere tools for their own selfish reasons."

Kiya stayed silent as Ivan said this, she didnt want to make him upset but the traditional way was all she knew. She had never really been able to make a choice in her life. The only choice was to come here and that was mainly because it was the fartherest from home she was allowed to go.

"I'm sorry if I just offended you." he whispered. "The same thing happened in my village. The girls were sold as sex slaves to any man who was interested in them for a couple hundred dollars. Sometimes the boys were sold too. I found it disgusting."

"Well we wernt so much sold for money but for lively hood, Food, water supply. I know I got everything easy because I lived at the temple but to be honest I found the life I saw outside better in some ways even if they didnt have everything in life." Kiya said but stopped when she realised she was babbling and coming to one of the biggest points she had promised herself not to make a big thing over.

"You don't like being a priestess? You would rather be sold as a whore?" He tried to sound understanding but he just couldn't. Not when his best friend was sold to some random American pig for 1000 dollars american.

"I did not say that." Kiya said simply, "I just don't..." Kiya began before shaking her head and sitting up. "I have to go." She said quickly and stood and rushed out of the commonroom before he would see the tears in her eyes.

Ivan watched her leave and stared at the cloth of the couch. He just had to go and say something offensive to her didn't he? As punishment for bringing tears to Kiya's eyes, he placed a hand over his wrist and began to slowly pull the iron out of the blood that pumped throigh there through his skin. It was very painful but he managed to avoid screaming. He gathered just enough to make a small chain necklace with the eye of Horus on it, then passed out.

Kiya handnt gone any farther then the hall outside of the commonroom. She wiped the tears from her eyes and sat on the ground and hit her head against the wall. "mAr, Xrt wa mrwt." She muttered as she wiped the tears away. Even in egyptian it was incoheriant babble. She simply sat there and slowly composed herself.
Once she was calm she went back into the commonroom, and just when she went to say something she realised Ivan didnt look like he was just lieing on the couch thinking, "Ivan?" She asked alarmed as she crept closer to the couch.

The sound of her voice didn't wake him. He lay still with the polished necklace in his hand his stomach. His skin became unusually pale for an asian and his breathing was shallow and quick. There was less than the normal amount of iron and hemoglobin needed to circulate the oxygen.

Kiya knew she had been stupid to leave, this had to have been her fault, "I cant do anything right." She said to herself and then noticed the necklace in his hand. She quickly looked to see if he still had his chain around and neck and sure enough he did. She looked around the room trying to figure out where he got the metal.
She then suddenly remembered when he had said to her when they first met, "mAr hy," She said and then knelt next to the couch, now she knew what was wrong she could help even if just a little, she couldnt put the iron back in him but she could help it reproduce and grow in his body.
She spoke a few words and brushed her hand up his body and then when she reached his forehead she drew a symbol lightly in the middle which glowed and returned back to his skin colour. And then Kiya just silently watched waiting hoping it would help.
